Black bags containing household refuse left out for prolonged
periods creating a health and safety hazard.
In an effort to alleviate the situation, the Parish Council wish to make the following suggestions: -
All waste, including black box recycling (fortnightly collection) is required to be kerbside by 7.00am on Monday morning.
Please put out your waste as late as possible on Sunday evening, or better still, early on Monday morning.
If you are away on the day of collection, please make alternative arrangements.
Take your rubbish to the tip, take it home or ask a friend or neighbour to put it out.
DO NOT put it kerbside before 6.00pm on Sunday evening.
REMEMBER, it is illegal to place household refuse in litter bins.
Place your black bag kerbside in a solid dustbin or wheely bin or use securely tied heavy duty black bags.
It is hoped that these simple ideas might help.
Thank you in anticipation.
